Assassin's Creed - Official Final Trailer

The final trailer for Assassin's Creed begins with a sweeping shot of an ancient city as Abstergo Foundation CEO Alan Rikkin (Jeremy Irons) walks among his followers, reflecting on the history of the world in between flashbacks of the past and present. "Mankind seems intent on destroying itself," as images of war, fiery destruction, and maniacal despots flash by. However, Rikkin informs his follows that there is an artifact, known as the Apple of Eden, that has the magical ability to crush any impulse at disobedience or disorder. But with that apple comes a protector, and all have died out. "Bar one," Rikkin tells his colleague (Charlotte Rampling). This lone protector is Callum Lynch, a career criminal who is currently facing the death penalty. Callum is saved from his certain death and recruited to work alongside lead scientist Sophia Rikkin (Marion Cotillard) in the Animus Project, where he will relive the memories of his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha of the Templar Order and retrieve the Apple of Eden.
