In the restricted trailer for Snatched, Emily (Amy Schumer) toasts with a mimosa to her South American adventure with her boyfriend (Randall Park). Unfortunately, her excitement is soon derailed as he informs her he is no longer going on the trip with her because his "band is really blowing up." He continues, "Where I'm going, there's going to be a lot of..." "Inspiration," she finishes. "Pussy," he counters. It's an awkward moment that ultimately ends with Emily as a single girl once again. She immediately goes to her mother's (Goldie Hawn) house for some post-break up consolation. While wallowing in her ugly cat t-shirt, Emily rummages through some old photo albums, where she discovers pictures of her mother as a young 20-something. After realizing how fun her mother used to be, Emily has the bright idea to go to go on a family trip instead. After some heavy persuasion, mother and daughter are on a flight to the warm and sunny climes of South America. While there, Emily and her mom get into some crazy shenanigans, including a highly embarrassing moment in a washroom. However, things don't necessarily go according to plan as they become embroiled in a nefarious kidnapping plot by a dangerous drug cartel.
