In the official trailer for The Case for Christ journalist Lee Strobel walks through a church. As we flash through his research, he asks his supervisor where he would start if he wanted to do an investigation into Christianity, reminding him he could reveal harsh truths about the religion. We then see various scenes of him seeking out the truth about Christianity and Jesus while he tries to reconcile his findings and his personal lack of belief with the beliefs of his religiously devout wife.
