Aaron Taylor-Johnson Interview - Godzilla

Aaron Taylor-Johnson reveals that director Gareth Edwards was the reason he joined the cast of Godzilla. Aaron also describes the film as emotional and says Godzilla was created to be a metaphor for what Japan went through during World War II. He says that to play his role, he studied the navy and memorized military lingo and talked about his character’s relationship with his father, played by Bryan Cranston.
