Adam Shankman loves musicals and after bringing the hit Hairspray to the big screen, the talented director/choreographer was adamant about taking on another hit Broadway show. His choice was Rock of Ages, which is set in the '80s and centers on two young people chasing their dreams in the big city. It features an all-star cast including Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige and Russell Brand.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Adam about his love for musical theatre, his casting choices and the craziest thing he's done for the love of music.
