Brie Larson says The Glass Castle is about family and how they try to love you the best they can, although kids don't always see it that way. She reveals that the characters are followed from childhood to adulthood and the audience witnesses all the twists and turns. She talks about how her character likes white, clean clothing as an adult because her clothes were always dirty when she was a child. She calls co-star Naomi Watts "magic" on screen and says it was really special to play opposite Woody Harrelson because they've been friends for many years.

The Glass Castle opens in theatres August 11, 2017.
