Danny Boyle Interview - T2 Trainspotting

T2 Trainspotting director Danny Boyle describes the film as being about “four characters in the same town 20 years later” and where they are at that point in their lives.  He mentions that the film is about how the characters both have and haven’t changed in that time. Danny describes how this film is set more in the exterior world, as most of the film is shot within the town itself, which he feels is quite suitable as the characters are more in touch with their surroundings and less under the influence of drugs.
