Each year, Hannes (Florian David Fitz) and his group of friends making a cycling trip to a specific destination. This year Hannes chooses to go to Belgium, a choice that confuses most. While they enjoy the lush scenery on the way, Hannes eventually reveals the real reason they are headed to Belgium – he has been diagnosed with ALS and assisted suicide is legal in Belgium.
As they journey onward, Hannes and his friends reflect on their relationships, their choices and about what it means to truly live.
