For the last few years, Ice Cube has been focusing on making family-friendly films, but when asked to be involved in the action/comedy 21 Jump Street, he couldn't refuse. He plays a hard-nosed police detective opposite Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum who won't put up with any funny business from the pair whom he assigns to go undercover at a high school.

Tribute chats with Ice Cube in New York about his inspiration for his character, working on the film and how he kept from bursting into laughter during each take.
