When Kerry Washington was first given the script for the new comedy A Thousand Words and found out that her on-screen husband was going to be Eddie Murphy, she didn't have to think twice about signing on the dotted line. Murphy plays literary agent Jack McCall and after stretching the truth on a deal with a spiritual guru, he finds a Bodhi tree on his property. Its appearance holds a valuable lesson on the consequences of every word we speak.
