Paul Dano & Zoe Kazan Interview

Zoe Kazan, the daughter of famed screenwriters Nicholas Kazan and Robin Swicord and the granddaughter of Oscar-winning director Elia Kazan, not only wrote the script for Ruby Sparks, but her boyfriend, well-known actor Paul Dano (Cowboys & Aliens), stars in it alongside her. After reading Zoe's script, Paul suggested his Little Miss Sunshine directors, Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton, to helm the movie, about a writer whose fictional character comes to life.

Tribute's Alexandra Heilbron spoke with Paul and Zoe in Toronto about how difficult it is to be a couple and work together; where the inspiration for the story came from and their favorite summer activities.
