When it comes to making down and dirty action thrillers, director Roland Emmerich is your man! The filmmaker’s latest effort is the the thriller White House Down, about an assault on the White House by a paramilitary group, starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx as the President of the United States.

Tribute.ca spoke with Roland in Washington D.C. about the extensive research it took to replicate the White House, casting Channing Tatum, and how the advancements in special effects software has changed the way he makes films.
