Sam Fell (director) and Chris Butler (writer/director) Interview

Sam Fell wrote and directed Flushed Away, which earned him a BAFTA Award nomination. He earned an Annie Award nomination for Best Directing for both Flushed Away and The Tale of Despereaux. He worked as co-director on ParaNorman.

Chris Butler, who did storyboard and design work on The Tale of Despereaux, Corpse Bride and Coraline makes his directorial debut with the stop-motion animated feature ParaNorman, which he also wrote.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Sam and Chris about the advances in stop-motion animation, the great thing about zombies and the positive messages the film conveys for kids and adults.
