Woody Harrelson reveals that he read the book for The Glass Castle prior to shooting the movie. He says he really related to the story and then when Brie Larson and director Destin Daniel Cretton got on board, it made him even more excited about bringing this story to the screen. He describes his character, who’s based on a true life person, as an interesting guy who does really questionable things as a parent and is "not perfect, by any means."
The Glass Castle opens in theatres August 11, 2017.
