et's start with the latest Tinseltown romantic entanglements. We hear Rod Stewart's ex, Rachel Hunter, is seeing Mark Wahlberg (Three Kings). Meanwhile, after years of dating, Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant are seriously talking about tying the knot this spring. Having survived the Divine Brown incident, the couple have seemed closer than ever in the past few months.
   Rumor has it Ben Affleck is seeing Jim Carrey's ex, Lauren Holly. According to reports, the couple was recently spotted at a party acting very much like, well, a couple. In other Ben news, he's thinking about starring in the baseball flick The Dreyfuss Affair, about a gay baseball player who has a fling with a teammate.
   Michael Douglas says if you cant beat 'em, scoop 'em. Douglas has started up a pretty cool little website to keep his fans abreast of what's happening with himself and fiancée Catherine Zeta-Jones. Most of the news will revolve around Catherine's pregnancy. Douglas says his prime motivation for starting the site is to beat the tabloids to his story and make sure that the truth gets out.
   They sure would make a cute couple... We're talking about Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts, who may team up for the action comedy The Mexican. Actually, Brad and director David Fincher recently backed out of the flick, but with Julia now on board and in need of a costar, there is speculation that Pitt could be it. We also hear rumors Brad will play Jack The Ripper in an upcoming film.
   In movie-star terms, it's a superpower summit. Word has it Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are in talks to team up for a new action flick. The only problem is, producers would have to shell out about $50 million just for the two of them, although Arnold and Sly might accept a hefty pay cut just for the fun of starring together. We hear that while Arnold wants both he and Sly to be good guys in the film, Stallone would prefer to play the bad guy.
   Speaking of legends, Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro may finally team up onscreen for the first time. Brando is in talks to star in the crime drama, The Score, starring De Niro and Edward Norton.
   Oscar-nominated actress Elizabeth Shue is heading back to school. Harvard to be exact.  Shue needs one more semester to get her degree in government. The 36-year-old actress attended Harvard in the '80s before she took off to the bright lights of Hollywood.
   Cold Mountain is the next project for Anthony Minghella, the director of The Talented Mr. Ripley. Already, some of the biggest names in the biz are knocking on Anthony's door trying to land a part, including Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Mr. Ripley himself, Matt Damon. Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett will also be fighting it out to star in the movie.
   Another big film on the way is the sequel to The Mummy. Universal Pictures never expected the original to make much money, so they didn't plan for the bandaged beast to rise again. Brendan Fraser will make more than $12 million for the picture, which will be shot in Egypt, London and Morocco this spring. It will be released next year.
   Canadian actor James Doohan, best known as Scotty on the original Star Trek series, is going to become a father again in a matter of weeks. Doohan's wife, Wendy, is 43; James will be 80 when the child is born. Tony Randall had his first child at age 77.
   Jennifer Aniston has agreed to produce a new series aimed at teens, but it's only over the internet. Jennifer says the show, which airs in spring, will "empower" teenage girls. Also in the works for Aniston is a TV series
she is producing that stars her dad, soap star John Aniston.
