Dear Tribute,
I can't remember the last time I saw a Canadian star on your cover so I
was surprised when I saw two! I knew a little about the very handsome Ryan
Reynolds but nothing on Kristin
Booth. They both seem like they are on
their way to very successful careers. Thanks for the story.

Dear Tribute,
As an avid Nicole Kidman fan, I was tickled to see her name appear several
times in your "Sex degrees of separation" article. (Sept. 2003)
Who doesn't enjoy a little love-life gossip about their favorite celebrity
every now and then? However, I came across a slight error in one of your
facts. The song "Somethin' Stupid" recorded by Kidman and rock
singer Robbie Williams did not in fact appear on the Moulin Rouge
soundtrack. It was recorded several months after the movie was released.
Other than that, keep up the good work, and I am anticipating your next
issue!

Dear Tribute,
Great magazine! We always look for it when we get to the theater. My
husband certainly had no problem spotting the September issue with the
very flattering cover photo of Catherine
Zeta-Jones! For the ladies, how
about putting George Clooney on the cover next month?

(How about Tom
Cruise?)
Dear Tribute,
We have just returned from a film whose newspaper
advertisement claimed "Hilarious!" and "A Crowd
Pleaser!" We feel that we were greatly misled. How can one tell by
the quotes how good a movie is and what it's really about?
Heather Pedersen, Tricia Marriott, Darlene McKee

(Newspaper advertisements for movies are often generic and don't give a
complete description of the film. For more complete details, check the release
schedule in Tribute or log on to www.tribute.ca where you can also check
out the popularity rating information before you see the movie you are
considering.)
Dear Tribute,
I read, with concurrence, Elaine Loring's bang-on preview of School Of
Rock after my intuition had led me to see it. A delightful supporting cast
complements Jack
Black's powerhouse presence. It was a truly refreshing
and entertaining family movie!

Dear Tribute,
I really love your magazine, especially the movie previews. I was
wondering if there are plans for X-Men 3?
Amy Hoang
(According to the latest info, all the main players are in talks to reprise their roles
in a third film, although it
seems unlikely that Halle Berry (currently filming another comic book
inspired film, Catwoman) will be back as Storm. The tentative release date
for the film is May, 2006.)
Correction:
Andrew MacNaughtan was the photographer for the Kristin Booth photos in the October issue. Kristin Booth's make up and hair were styled by Alice
Kilpatrick, Donato Salon & Spa.
