Synopsis

All Governments Lie: Truth, Deception, and the Spirit of I.F. Stone is a documentary film chronicling the new wave of independent, investigative and adversarial journalists that came about thanks to rebel journalist I.F. Stone’s footsteps. Many of the film's Emmy Award-winning filmmakers who subscribed to I. F. Stone’s newsletter in their younger days want to now show the truth behind mainstream media that has run amok. Reluctant to delve deep and expose the lies put forth by the government, many media outlets are criticized for not uncovering the facts, thus leaving it up to the independent journalists who risk their lives everyday for their careers to uncover the truth.
