Upon arrival at work, Lucia and her two colleagues are intrigued by a banner reading "Lonely Man," hung from the window of an apartment located in front of their building. Distress call or a bad joke? Soon, all employees of their company are questioning the meaning of the message. At noon, three women will picnic in a park populated with a colorful crowd composed of parents, troubled children, love, lonely, workers and seniors. During the afternoon, some of them come to the hardware store, where they are served by employees more or less competent. The day draws to an end and the enigma of the banner is still not resolved.
