Café transit
When her husband dies, Reyhan, an Iranian mother of two girls, refuses to marry her brother-in-law Nasser, who, according to tradition, is obligated to take the family under his wing. Wanting to establish her independence, the young woman decides to take over her husband’s business, a café located near the Turkish border.
Soon, her iron will and culinary talents attract numerous customers to the café. Among them is Zackario, a kindly Greek truck driver who slowly becomes attached to Reyhan and her children. Nasser, who wanted to marry Reyhan, sees that his sister-in-law’s restaurant is giving his own restaurant serious competition and he tries to put her out of business.
