Exils

Zano and Naïma are both exiles from their birth country, Algeria. The son of French colonists, Zano lost his parents shortly after they fled the country during the war of independence. Naïma is the daughter of Arab immigrants.

The two lovers decide to set out from Paris, where they've lived almost their whole lives, to go on a road trip to return to the land of their origins. Equipped with backpacks and walkmans, Zano and Naïma take on jobs and meet a variety of people along the way as they travel across France, Spain and Morocco before arriving at their destination.
