Kitchen Party follows a “day in the life” of a group of teenagers and their parents. With his parents away for the evening, Scott seizes the rare opportunity to entertain his friends at an impromptu party that spins out of control in a blur of bedlam and bullets. Meanwhile, across town, their parents arrive at their own suburban soiree.

As their evening events unwind, so do the pent-up tensions between the characters-teenagers and parents alike-leaving behind a trail of dented cars, bloodied noses, mussed carpet, and if anybody bothered to stop and notice, ruptured lives.
