Now that he and his wife Véronique are divorcing, middle-aged restaurateur Max (François Cluzet) has decided to sell his gorgeous summer home in the chic beach community of Cap Ferret. He’s reluctant to let the house go, because each summer he and Véro had their friends, Éric, Antoine, Vincent, Isabelle and Marie, come to stay with them. However, he hasn’t heard from them in three years, so when they arrive in Cap Ferrat to celebrate his 60th birthday, he’s more than a little surprised. Not wanting them to know about his situation, he tries to hide the fact that the house is up for sale, because it’s something not even Véro knows about.
