Love is Blind (Netflix)

This 11-episode Netflix original reality series is based on an experiment to find out whether love is truly blind. Hosted by Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa Lachey, they challenge singles to find love without ever seeing what the person looks like.

Couples go on dates inside a “pod” where they can only hear the other person's voice, and date without any physical distractions. A proposal takes place inside the pods and when the couples finally meet and see each other for the first time, they are sent to Mexico where they will combine their emotional connection with the physical connection, if any.

After leaving Mexico, they live with each other, meet each others' parents, and prepare themselves to get married within weeks. Some couples struggle to deal with the physical connection while some couples mesh perfectly. The wedding day is the highlight of it all.
