Synopsis

As one of the most influential groups in American music history, the Beach Boys provided the soundtrack to the '60s and '70s.

Their leader and co-founder Brian Wilson is regarded as an innovator of popular music and the creative force behind some of the most celebrated recordings in rock history. Despite his musical genius, Brian struggled with personal issues and rode a roller coaster that threatened everything he worked so hard to create.

This film takes a look inside the incredible early days of the Beach Boys, as well as the troubled life of Brian Wilson and his struggle with mental illness.
