Synopsis

Although Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham), a former elite assassin who specialized in making deaths look like accidents, has retired and is living a quiet life, his old enemy Crain (Sam Hazeldine) tries to force him to come out of retirement. Bishop goes to join his old friend Mei (Michelle Yeoh) on a tropical beach in an effort to lay low.

When a young woman named Gina (Jessica Alba) shows up, Bishop falls in love with her, even after he finds out she's being targeted by Crain in order to manipulate Bishop. When Crain recaptures Gina, he forces Bishop to agree to assassinate three deadly and brutal arms dealers in exchange for Gina's life.

  • 2 stars "Jessica Alba is the best part of this movie. Strathom usually mediocre in all his films but here, he is dull and boring. The fight scenes were poorly executed, the special effects like a B-rated horror flick and the dialogue exactly what you'd expect given the review of all the other parts above: childlike."
  • 4 stars "Jason Statham is really good at this genre and this type of character, he makes the film."
  • 5 stars "Very cool movie. Lots of kick ass action, Shooting, blowing things up. Hot chick, Thailand was beautiful. Statham is a kick ass fighter."
