  • 2 stars "it was ok but nothing I would watch again"
  • 5 stars "Saw the live show, twice, in New York. If you can't make it to New York, then this movie is the next best thing. Chad Kimball(Huey)and Montego Glover (Felicia) own the stage in this lively show, that crosses the racial barriers existing in South, in the 50's. It's a great depiction of how life was before rock 'n roll was born was born outta the blues...!!! A gotta see...!!!"
  • 5 stars "The musical was great. It was such high energy and very catchy tunes. I loved the actor who played Huey. He was very talented. I wish more people would have also attended. It was not well advertised."
