Unhappy performing at birthday parties to make a living, a Montreal musician sets out for Mexico, where she hopes to settle down. There, she gives piano lessons to the young son of a man in mourning for his mother. The three, from different cultures and generations, are linked by the urgent need to change before it’s too late.
