In 1955, Emmett Till (Joshua Wright), 14, is visiting his great-uncle Mose Wright (L.B. Williams), an African-American preacher living in the small town of Money, Mississippi, when a white woman who works as a store clerk accuses the boy of whistling at her. 

Later that night, two white men invade Mose's home to kidnap Emmett. Mose knows that his nephew's fate will be sealed if the men succeed in taking him.

Based on the true story of Emmett Till.

  • 5 stars "I enjoyed the acting and cinematography of the film. The actors took on the roles of Uncle Mose and others to allow the viewers to live in that era and feel the threat that was so prominent. The cinematography was awesome as well. Great job, "My Nephew Emmett"!"
