As North Texas prepared to host one of the world's largest sporting events, more than 44,000 children were making plans of their own. They coordinated neighborhood cleanups, a hospital toy drive, anti-graffiti campaigns, food drives, and more. In the end, they discovered that heroism and leadership aren't only characteristics of all-star athletes.
This film offers an intimate look at children who embarked on a yearlong journey to identify problems and improve the lives of those around them.
