The Best of the Banff Film Festival
New Balance, National Geographic and Trailhead present The Best Of The Banff Mountain Film Festival. This treat screens only once annually, and only at the ByTowne.
The Best Of is a touring selection of prizewinners and highlights from the Banff Mountain Film Festival, an annual event that showcases short films on mountain sports, adventure and the environment. Many of the top award winners are featured in the show, which offers plenty of enlightenment and entertainment for anyone who loves the great outdoors.
The films are introduced by a representative of the Banff Festival, and the evening includes additional information on clothes and equipment for outdoor activities, along with lots of door prizes!
(Approximate running time of 150 min. plus intermission. Short films originated in various formats, and are presented on the ByTowne's screen using video projection equipment.)
