When Eric, a control freak filmmaker, succumbs to his restless partner Allie’s campaign to get a dog, he insists upon adopting a rescue. What comes their way is Milly, a traumatized whippet arriving via airplane with an unknown past from the Dominican Republic. Eager to master the dog-training process, Eric enforces an ideology that emphas inner strength and his role as leader of the pack.
