The tranquility of the village of Solby is disrupted when Mayor JB suddenly disappears. A cat named Mika and her elephant friend Sebastian find a message in a bottle from the mayor that tells them he ran aground on a strange island, hidden under a thick cloud. The bottle also contains a small seed that, when planted, becomes a giant pear.

After transforming the fruit into an improbable vessel, Mika and Sebastian set out with Professor Glucose to find their mayor and bring him back to Solby. On their way to the mysterious island, the three travelers run into pirates, a surprising dragon and an extravagant inventor.

But they have no time to lose, because in his absence, JB’s ambitious assistant has taken the opportunity to seize the village and build a large tower in the place of the town hall.
