The Legend of Rita
Set in 1970, a radical West German anti-capitalist terrorist, Rita (Beglau), escapes to East Germany and
settles with a new identity under the protection of Stasi, the secret police. Now a factory
worker by the name of Susanne Schmidt, she lives in constant fear of being discovered. With
the German re-unification at hand, her exposure becomes unavoidable.
