The Metropolitan Opera: Macbeth Encore

The Met Opera's encore performance of Verdi's Macbeth will be shown in select cinemas on Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. in all time zones.

Please note: not all cinemas showing the live transmission will present an encore showing.Star soprano Anna Netrebko delivers her searing portrayal of Lady Macbeth, the mad and murderous mate of ?eljko Lu?i?'s doomed Macbeth, for the first time at the Met.

Adrian Noble's chilling production of Verdi's adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy also stars Joseph Calleja as Macduff and René Pape as Banquo with Fabio Luisi conducting.
