"Our film is an Iberian dagger we shall plunge deep into the breast of witty and intellectual Paris," said Salvador Dali of his first film with Luis Bunuel who added, "Our film is an imp[assioned plea to the audience to commit murder." Bunuel filled the pockets of his clothing with rocks to throw at the audience in they were attacked. Instead they were hailed as heroes.
The riots broke out with their second film which was banned worldwide. "Pure cinema and nothing but! Unequalled!" raved TROPIC OF CANCER author Henry Miller (himself to stranger to having his work banned). Boith film will be shown plus films by Marcel Duchamp, Fernand Leger, Man Ray and Rene Clair.
