Laura, 24, has a rich and powerful father who is accused of embezzlement and a mother who looks younger than she does, thanks to a number of cosmetic surgeries. Although she doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life, she knows one thing for sure: she wants to find her Prince Charming. Laura meets Sandro, an aspiring composer, at a ball. They fall in love, only to be thwarted by Maxime, a womanizing music impresario. Sandro tries to turn to his father, Pierre, but finds he’s anxiety ridden because a psychic has revealed to him the date of his death, which happens to be in the not-too-distant future.
