While She Was Out

On Christmas Eve Della Myers (Kim Basinger) heads to the mall to run a few last minute errands. When she sees a Plymouth taking up two spaces in the jammed parking lot she writes an angry note and leaves it on the car. After leaving the mall, Della finds the Plymouth blocking her exit and is approached by the thugs who own it. Terrified, Della jumps into her car and squeals out of the parking lot in an attempt to escape but the thugs are not far behind. Trying to lose them, Della whips her car into a wooded area where she crashes into a tree. Stunned but conscious, she realizes that this will be a fight for her life. Now out for revenge, the remaining thugs continue to hunt their prey, until Della reverses the roles and starts hunting them.
