Synopsis

Mèche Blanche, a young beaver who lives in the Canadian boreal forest, is raised by his mother -- his father having disappeared shortly after his birth.

One day, the young rodent decides to leave to find his father, despite the many dangers including the raging river and woods where a pack of merciless wolves and a ferocious otter live. Mèche Blanche will be able however to count on the assistance of a solitary old beaver.
