We celebrate as a small family, sometimes we would travel to Nova Scotia from Ontario, but this year we are in Alberta. I go to Church on Christmas eve with my son, my husband stays home to do up some snacks foods for when we return from church. We watch a few movies and open our 1 gift xmas eve. Then Christmas Day, it is usually me waiting patiently waiting for 7am to get everyone up to open gifts. We sometimes take a break to have breakfast and then continue opening gifts. The kids go off to play and Dad and I start the Turkey. Its awesome and I am lucky to have such a great family. This year my husband is deployed and we are very lucky and fortunate that he will be able to get home for Christmas for 2 weeks before returning to duty. Merry Christmas everyone. 🙂

Daniel Schneider MY Mother and I go over to my aunt’s house every year for Christmas and start off by talking about what’s going on in.our lives and then we open presents 1 person at a time taking video and pictures as were doing it. Then we eat dinner and pull crackers with eachother and we each wear the crowns from the crackers. We then look and talk about the prizes we got from the crackers. After that we say Grace and then dig in! After we eat we sit down for awhile and digest listening to Christmas music and checking out our gifts and talking. Then it’s time for dessert. No matter how full everybody is we always have room for dessert. After dessert we clean up then sit down and have some Irish Coffees and play games. Then we watch tv. Christmas really is the most Wonderful time of the year! It brings Family, Friends, God and Magic together.

Each year in our family we have 2 special Christmas parties, one on each side of my family and my husband’s side. It’s the only time that we really can get together as a family to make happy memories and get updates from everyone!! We would draw a name in advance and give a $50.00 gift to the one family member so that everyone gets a present to open after our potluck dinner!! Hope everyone in this world have a blessed and joyous Christmas with your families!🎄🙏🏻
