By Alexandra Heilbron on August 12, 2008 | 7 Comments

Shelley HalilShelley Malil, 43, who played Haziz, one of nullco-workers in The 40-year-old Virgin, was arrested on Sunday after allegedly stabbing a woman in her home in San Diego. Authorities say after she was stabbed, she ran outside with Malil in hot pursuit. Outside, he stabbed her again, as many as 20 times. The woman’s two children were witnesses to the attack. Malil was later arrested at train station in Oceanside, California and arrested for first-degree attempted murder. The victim, whose identity is unknown, is in critical condition. Lt. Phil Brust of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement: “Malil and the victim had apparently been in a dating relationship which recently ended.” Malil, who has appeared on TV series such as NYPD Blue and Scrubs, plays a role in Crossing Over, starring Harrison Ford and Sean Penn, which opens in theaters this October.

Psycho!! What is with all these cowardly little goofs beating and stabbing women…especially in front of their children!!???? What, afraid if they fight a man they might get punched out so they feel tough beating on women?

Reminds me of my ex. He felt “tough” in front of my kids too! Now you have it Jo…the reason why I LOVE being single and the reason I get P’d off reading articles like this one and the one above it!!

wow, a guy who repeatedly stabbed someone 20 times in front of their children reminds you of your ex??

hopefully this Shelley guy gets what’s coming to him for such a horrendous attack.

But Nancy, since you feel the need to justify your “singleness” to me, let me assure you, there’s no need. I don’t judge the entire male race on the actions of one man.

Yes Jo, he reminds me of my ex and I don’t have to justify my “singleness” to you, I just figured I would let you know seeing as you previously jumped to the conclusion that I am a bad parent and that my children would be better off with their “donor”…meanwhile you have no idea! My “singleness” is for ME it is not a judgement against the “entire male race”…if I was judging the entire male race I would be lesbian, wouldn’t I? I do NOT like woman beaters and child abusers though.

that’s just as bad as what that guy did on the greyhound bus in Manitoba. Why the hell would someone do that, it dosent matter how mad you get. Settle things like an adult, with talking. There is no resone for someone to almost die because of an arguement.

In my opinion, people like that have no right to live. At the very least, they should be locked up for the rest of their lives, and not in some Club Fed either, they should do real, hard time.
