I Am Legend tops box office

I Am LegendI Am Legend, starring Will Smith, debuted at the top of the weekend box office, earning a whopping $76.5 million (all figures US). Another new movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks, opened in second with $45 million. Last weekend’s The Golden Compass was pushed to third place, earning a paltry $9 million for a total take of $41 million, far less than expected by the studios. Two-time box office champ Enchanted dropped two spots to fourth, earning an additional $6 million for a total take of $92.27 million. Golden Globe-nominated drama No Country For Old Men climbed into the top five, earning $3 million for a total of $33.5 million.

    Just give them a few acorns and they’ll be sooooo happy – they are chippies afterall!!!

    Besides, their agents take way too much of a cut anyway!!!!!
