90210 star disses Canada

Canadian actress Shenae Grimes, 19, who’s currently starring on the new drama series 90210, was clearly unhappy to be home during a recent appearance at the Gemini Awards.  According to Ryan Porter at msn.com, she was overheard on the red carpet dissing the media coverage, which included Entertainment Tonight Canada and eTalk: “Who is even here worth talking to anyway?” Miss Grimes, who gained experience played recurring roles on Canadian-made fare such as Naturally, Sadie and Degrassi: The Next Generation, also refused to walk the red carpet with former Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley and wouldn’t enter the media room, commenting, “I try to f–king avoid all that sh-t.” This, coming from a girl who denied to People magazine awhile ago that she was difficult to work with, or that she parties too much, or that she has an eating disorder. It seems that last bit is correct: “She demanded to know where her dinner was,” a source told Porter. Grimes plays Annie Wilson on 90210, a role she acquired after Hilary Duff turned it down.
