Daily Planet celebrates Rob Stewart’s life tonight

Daily Planet is airing a tribute tonight to Canadian filmmaker Rob Stewart, a champion for sharks who directed the award-winning films Sharkwater and Revolution.

As Shark Week continues this week, Daily Planet will take a look back at some of Rob’s greatest encounters and will also offer an exciting sneak peek at scenes from Rob’s much-anticipated sequel — Sharkwater: Extinction.

Make sure to tune in to Discovery Channel tonight at 7:30 p.m. and stay tuned for the rest of Shark Week, where you’ll get a new appreciation for this beautiful creatures and learn about their deep, dark secrets, as well as meeting fearless researchers like Rob who put it all on the line to save them from extinction.
