The fifth installment of the Die Hard series, A Good Day To Die Hard, was last weekend’s top film at the box office. It brought in an estimated $25 million, with Tribute.ca users giving it a 3.25 star rating out of 5 stars. The hilarious crime comedy Identity Thief dropped to second place, but still had a strong showing with $23.4 million and a Tribute.ca rating of 3.6 stars. In third was the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven, which brought in $21.4 million and as it was Valentine’s Day weekend, many couples must have enjoyed it as it earned 4.4 stars. The animated flick Escape From Planet Earth came in fourth with a gross of $16.1 million and 5 stars from Tribute.ca users. Rounding out the top five was Warm Bodies, which in its third week at the box office brought in a solid $9 million with an average 4.2 stars.

There aren’t any good movies out at this time of year. I’m not surprised that A Good Day To Die Hard was number one. Seems like the only decent one to see out of all the movies.
