A Nightmare on Elm Street first look

A Nightmare on Elm Street PosterWhether you were an adult or a child, everyone remembers their first encounter with the notorious Freddy Krueger who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers. Johnny Depp even starred in the first one! Well, for fans of the horror saga, a remake will hit screens next year and some artwork was revealed at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego.

Jackie Earle Haley of Watchmen stars as the sadistic demon who plagues the dreams of suburban teenagers. Haley is scheduled to appear at Comic-Con at Friday’s panel to increase the hype for this thriller.
Also not a part of this remake is Nightmare’s creator, director Wes Craven. TransformersMichael Bay will sit in as producer. Glean from that what you will.
So if you’re one of the lucky ones to get in on this panel, remember folks, don’t fall asleep!

i gotta say the friday the thirteenth remake sucked if they bomb this one as bad man oh man someones gonna be pissed, and seriously? are they actually gonna do this without wes craven? if wes wants nothing to do with this then personally i dont think it should be done after all it is his idea they were his nightmares,i mean dont get me wong i’d love to see the demon who never dies back again for some more fun and comical murder but remakes are never as good as the originals and the original of any nightmare on elm movie is a tough act to follow. (and why is johnny dep in everything??)lol well theres my 2 cents

ohh wait, it was the halloween remake i liked, i cant even remember the friday the 13th remake. wes craven probably wants a break from the same old movies, so he is letting someone else have their go at it. just because wes doesnt want to be a part of something doesnt mean its gonna suck. think about all the other good movies out there, its not like hes the ONLY person that can make a good movie.

FR13 remake sucked because it was the same bunch of losers who ruined texas chainsaw massacre. Michael bay was one of them. I don’t blame Wes Craven for wanting to stay far far away from this. They’re gonna make Freddy suck and Michael Bay will probably throw in a bunch of explosions because that’s all he’s good at. Who said Freddy looks scary? You can’t even see his face.
