Adele goes vegetarian to lose weight

Adele is well loved for her amazing musical talents that have brought her thus far, but following comments from designer Karl Lagerfeld, who said Adele is a “little too fat,” it’s been reported that the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer is now trying to lose weight and shed her well-known, full-figured look. The 23-year-old singer is trying to get in shape with her boyfriend Simon Konecki. The U.K. newspaper The Mail reported that the two “have each lost almost a stone in the past month,” which is about 14 pounds. They are following a strict vegetarian diet and jogging every morning. A friend said, “The weight is dropping off them and they plan to keep dieting until the end of April.” ~Renita Naraine

    I’m all for being healthy, but I do consider these girls a little hypocritical…didn’t both her and Jennifer Hudson rave about how they love themselves the way they are and how they won’t give in to pressure to be skinny etc…?

    Losing weight is one thing; keeping it off is quite another. If she can’t maintain a vegetarian diet along with a daily jogging routine than she better prepare for some disappointment down the road when the weight comes back and than some.

    Its easy to lose weight if you can stop eating the crap that the TV says you should. Some exercise and a little more though about how you are eating and the weight will just fall off. Spicy food really helps alot too. : )~

    Cutting meat out of your diet is an excellent way to lose weight. Even just cutting it down to one serving per week does a lot for your health. Cuts out all kinds of carcinogens and fat.

    Damn u Lagerfeld. Because of u Adele started thinking about her being to fat and now shes goign to b thinner. Guess what? ITS NOT ABOUT WEIGHT! She has a good voice, thats all we want. If she was unhealthy because of her weight, then fine its for health reasons. But since its cause soem guy said something, then I guess shes goign 2 lose a bit of respect.

    i’m all for anyone trying to improve their health, for any reason. she doesnt need to,for looks,as she has the voice that sells music. she needs to,for her hearts sake to live a longer life and enjoy her fame and fortune. nothing wrong with a full figured woman, i like curves and some meat on the bones. you can be overweight and still be heart-healthy, plenty of people out there exercising with a few extra pounds. i hope she is doing it for the right reasons, and for the long haul.

    Ummm so you should accept being fat and have to deal with health problems in the future? So what if she looks fine the way she is, she will live a happier n healthier life exercising m eating healthy

    Protein burns fat. cutting meat out of your diet is not the way to go. yes you can get protein from certain vegetables, but not enough. if you want to lose weight, when you eat your meal, eat your protein first, then your vegetables and finally your carbs if you still have room for them. i have lost more then 50 pounds doing it this way and feel great!

    It’s a diet Tracy she can add meat later. You can get a lot protein from tofu, beans edame etc
