Adele takes Michael Jackson’s spot

By Tribute on May 6, 2012 | 3 Comments

Adele’s second album, 21, has pretty much stolen the hearts of millions, and now, it has surpassed Michael Jackson’s Thriller album on the UK’s biggest selling albums list with 4,274,300 copies sold worldwide – 500 more than the late king of pop. However, she has not fully taken the crown. In front of Adele’s No.5 rating includes Oasis’ (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? at No. 4, ABBA’s Gold, The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club, and at No.1 stands Queen’s Greatest Hits with 5.83 million copies sold. Considering the music industry’s lack of CD sales, this is a huge accomplishment for the soulful singer, especially because Thriller dominates that list internationally. With her songs continuously making headlines and her album still being sold, Adele’s ratings are sure to climb higher. ~Graeme Mollison

I really don’t like her, don’t know why. Her hair is really huge :/

Ya when your hair is that big it interferes with your singing right? C’mon man lol. If your gonna critize be constructive. I think Adel is one of the best singers around. She knew what to wright about “Broken Heart”, it sells like hot cakes it always will cuz people can relate.

Adele is good but not nearly as good as Michael Jackson, Beatles or even OASIS. She is just lucky she finds herself in an era starved for quality music and with very slim competition. Nuff Said
