Adele to star in feature film

Adele Adele is in talks to star in a feature film. The 27-year-old singer made her musical comeback with her new single ‘Hello’ last month and is now set to make a cameo in The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, which is being directed by her video’s creator, Xavier Dolan.

However, the movie – which also features Jessica Chastain, Kit Harington, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates – is not expected to feature any new songs from the multi-million selling superstar, according to ScreenDaily.

She previously won an Academy Award for her Bond theme ‘Skyfall’ and recently admitted her latest music video had inspired her to head to Hollywood, especially if it means she can once again work under the direction of 26-year-old filmmaker Xavier.

She said: ”After doing my music video, I’m sure I’ll get some flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier Dolan who is truly, truly amazing and his films are incredible.

”I would be in a film for him definitely. I don’t like it when those singers start acting, it makes them mediocre. But I don’t quite know what I’d be cast as anyway.”
