Aguilera gives birth

Christina Aguilera’s homepageChristina Aguilera gave birth to her first child, weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches on Saturday night. She and husband Jordan Bratman, 30, have named their son Max Liron Bratman. Aguilera, 27, posted the news on her website, along with a message including a link to download a special video of “Save Me From Myself,” a song from her “Back to Basics” album, saying, “This video is very dear to me as it includes actual footage from our personal wedding video! Just a little something to say ‘thank you’ for your undying love and support.’”

    Good thing that kid won’t have to worry about attending public school — he’d be tortured no end for having a name like “Max Liron Bratman…”

    Better than Hopper Jack! Max is an ok name. The last name can’t really be helped. But what kind of name is Liron? I haven’t heard of that one before.

    I did a Google on baby name meanings and when I asked for Liron it came up with the closest one being Eliron. It’s a Hebrew name for a boy and is a variant of Eliran meaning “My God is song”. When you think about what she does for a living it’s a perfect name for her new baby.
