Alec Baldwin recently proposed to his girlfriend of almost one year. Baldwin, 54, reportedly popped the question to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas, 28, this past weekend at a romantic getaway in Montauk. The 30 Rock star shared the joyous news with brother Stephen Baldwin, who told reporters, “I kinda knew this was coming and couldn’t be happier for my big brother Alec and Hilaria.” Baldwin was previously in a tumultuous nine-year marriage with Kim Basinger. The two split in 2002 and have a 16-year-old daughter, Ireland. In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Baldwin explained his fear of being alone before meeting Thomas, saying, “I’ll have my quiet, unhappy life, and then right when I put it all on the shelf, and it was over… I walked into a restaurant… and I met this woman who is probably one of the greatest people I’ve ever met in my life.” ~Renita Naraine
